landing at the rookery
I got a prize last year for services to the Shag - The habit continues.
There's always something going on at the rookeries and today was no exception. I was Perched on rocks at Suicide point - a good vantage point for shag spotting. In their mating and nesting plumage -They are busy getting nest material and extra food for their progeny. They fly into the rookery at about 60-70 KPH
then on go the brakes - feet and all - I love their power and grace!
enjoy
