Our first lunch in the 'Great Room'

Today, for the first time, we were able to walk through the Upper Ground Floor and appreciate the wonderful space that is this "great" room.

I took our sandwiches up there and placed a picnic stool where eventually our dining room table will be, and we imagined what it will be like when finished. It's pretty special even now.
