Great Creasted Grebe....

Feeding his Young. I was at the Nature reserve today briefly and these came over to me in the hide that is right by the Lake, he was diving down and coming up with small fish to feed two youngsters, brilliant.

This happens to be my 1100th but I am not doing a celebration brick as it was too close to my 1095th Three years Blip, so you will have to wait for the next one.

It also happens to be probably the last blip with my 40D as it is being sold next week, I don't normally sell stuff, but I have no way to convince Mrs BM I need a 7D as a back up camera without getting rid of it first.
