Cooing

A Collared Dove perched on telephone wires. I think there may be love in the air as a second bird is always perched on the Telegraph pole a few yards away and over the last couple of days has been bringing presents of small twigs and other nesting material. Although quite late in the year for birds to breed in the UK, Collared Doves can have up to five broods throughout the breeding season, with last brood being raised around the end of September.
