Pluck

...as in "She's got pluck."

She's asked begged hounded me weekly for violin lessons since last fall. After failing to talk her into taking up piano first, I relented. I'm grateful that the teacher is starting out easy on her (as well as on our ears) by teaching pizzicato first.
