Running With Scissors

I read a book a couple of years ago when I was living and working in the UK, entitled "Running With Scissors - A Memoir by Augusten Burroughs". It was, on many levels, one of the best books I had ever read, although a little bit too twisted to recommend to everybody I knew back then (or even now, for that matter!) The book has since been made into an utterly pathetic movie, as is usually the case with really good books:(

I quickly popped home this afternoon during my lunch hour and stumbled upon the very same book while searching for something else in the study. I opened the book randomly and the first sentence I read was the following: "She was an excitable girl who seemed to be starved for chaos..."
It made me sile:)

I put the book away, found what I was actually looking for and went outside to shoot my subject matter: Paddington, an excitable dog who seems to be starved for chaos! I drove back to work, giggling at my own silly joke.
