Shameless
It could have been the play dough picture, or it could have been this other one, but in the end I opted for a shameless portrait of my bonny boy. Looking all serious.
Had a good day today. Spoke to the diabetes centre again because I've been feeling sick from upping my meds, but today the sickness has gone and my appetite is back (thank goodness) and so I had a positive conversation with the nurse. Made playdough for Ben, two colours (a lurid salmon and a weird purple), and as soon as I have another margarine tub I will make a third colour too. Brilliant stuff, homemade play dough, except it does leave a salty residue on the hands. Maybe I need to look at other recipes and see if it's made any other way.
Then Ben decided that we had to go catch the bus. He seemed very determined about this. Brought me his sandals, brought me my shoes, got annoyed when I put my slippers on instead, pulled me off the sofa and started banging the front door saying "keys! bus!" So we walked (yes he walked as well! At toddler pace: slowly, running, jumping, looking at everything, saying everything was "wow!") up to the station, watched a few trains, waited for daddy and walked home again.
No idea what's for tea tonight but that's all part of the fun. Isn't it?
Thankyou so much for all your comments yesterday! Still not got those photos stuck in the book yet tho'.......!
