You reach out to pick up the loaf...but, inches from it, your hand stops.
You stand there, your arm frozen, a puzzled look on your face.
As you try to move your hand towards what you want, all you achieve for your efforts is a faint tremor in your fingers.
Frustrated now, you lower your arm. Doing this, it moves perfectly freely - but as you try reaching for a packet of rolls, exactly the same thing happens. In fact, it seems to happen whatever you try to take from the shelves.
You let out a moan of frustration that sounds alien to your ears, and let the shopping basket fall uselessly to the floor.
What's the point, when it seems you're unable to put anything in it?
Part Three begins here.
