This isn't an ordinary shoe lace

And it's not from M&S either ;-)

It is however the first ever shoe lace to be tied (somewhat inexpertly) by Son One! The big one is growing up fast too! Headed into town for new school shoes today and he conned us into a pair of swanky new lace-up trainers too because they were in the sale. We had intended only going to the library, but we ended up with new trousers for me, shoes and trainers for the boy, library books and tea at the pub - result!
