Flaked out

Small boy, big bed. And I'm not surprised he was snoring then because there was a definite 'Must Try Harder' note to his sleeping at night :-/

I had one of those moments today. I'm sure all parents must get them at some point. He'd been kipping for 45 minutes or so and I went back into the tent for something, and was surprised to see a small baby on my bed! Just for the tiniest second I seemed to have *completely* forgotten about his existence. Madness.

Took a few photos today but for some reason they all seem pretty dire! Tried to video the small one dancing while we were listening to friends play guitar and mandolin, accompanied by TPD on an improvised djembe (aka the water carrier), except he stopped as soon as I started. Spent ages this morning watching the resident eagle circling overhead, she appeared to have a young one with her too. Once again lamented not having a longer lens, but she was very high so I don't think I'd have managed anything other than a silhouette. Great to watch though.
