The Sky Train

Public transport in Vancouver is great.  $2.50 to get you anywhere for 90 minutes in one zone, after 6pm and all weekend.  In that 90 minutes you can take as many buses, sky trains and sea buses as you want.

The sky train is a bit more exciting than it sounds..  Essentially it's a little like the tube, the metro or the underground (except a lot of it is over ground).

The sea bus is a bit more exciting than it sounds as well. It's not a bus as such, but a boat.  Not tried it yet, may have a trip at the weekend.

But it's clean, friendly and on time. Much better than the public transport back home in Aberdeen.

Saying that, if Vancouver had NO public transport what so ever it would still be better than the transport back in Aberdeen.
