It's been a fine day after all the rain we've had this week. The sky is still blue at 6pm but the clouds are moving in which will make viewing tonight's meteor showers difficult.

Natives of Aberdeen will recognise this statue in the centre of Aberdeen as Edward VII. More often than not, he has a bird on his head.
