My First Peace Memorial Ceremony
Today was my first visit to the Peace Ceremony, which is held on August 6th every year.
The hospital where I was born is across the road from the Peace Park, where the bomb was dropped 65 years ago, so I feel I should find out more about it. Mummy says I'm not quite old enough to go into the museum yet, but I know that what happened here was very bad, and it shouldn't happen again anywhere.
It was the hottest day so far this summer, even at 8 o'clock in the morning, so we were very glad of the frozen towels the organizers were handing out to everyone. I came up with the perfect solution to cool my head. Frozen towel under hat!
May peace be with you all!
