I guess I've missed posting a few blips. I've shot on most days, but I just haven't felt like putting the pictures up here for some reason. I have some back-work to do, which I'll get around to.

Anyway that whole "contrast" theme for October is over. I have a new theme, but not because I'm trying to challenge myself with something or see differently; it's just that I've gotten square-obsessed.

I can't stop shooting and seeing squares - I love the format so much.

So much, in fact, that when I take a two week vacation next month rather than going anywhere I'm just going to hang around here...and shoot squares. On film. Well, that's not the whole reason I'm not going anywhere, but whatev.

I taped over the screen on my compact camera so that it's square now. When I import the pictures into lightroom I crop them all to square. I went out with my SLR today and its crazy 3:2 format kept freaking me out. Twin lens reflex, here I come!

Anywhere here are some squares - there are a few weeks of past squares in my pipeline, and a few close to yous left from September, even. And next month's theme is even more exciting!

Hope to see you again tomorrow - sometimes after these long droughts a good seal-breaker is necessary.
