Great night out in Bristol

This may be our last visit to Bristol for a while as my daughter and boyfriend are moving out this month.

We walked down past the Cabot tower to the waterside visiting an interesting pub along the way, (there are lots of them in Bristol -small and old fashioned as they used to be) and a bar on a boat. We had a lovely meal in a quirky place on the river too with candle light and bikes hanging from the ceiling!

En route we walked along the quay past the SS Great Britain and the Matthew and lots of other boats. It is always very colourful but the dying sun on this evening seemed to really highlight the colours against an increasingly threatening sky. Luckily we didn't get rain but got some great blips!
