Here's How It's Done

We had a fairly early start this morning for David77 to take and post his blip before we took him to the airport for the start of his journey back to Cairo.

He was the last of the summer family visitors to leave, and it was an emotional time knowing that he and his brother and sisters would never be back in what was their home for 30 years.
It suddenly brought home the finality of our departure and its effect on the family. A few tears from me and he was gone. We will miss him and also daughter# 3 already back in Oman.

But as he says, life moves on and after a recuperative coffee with a cycling friend, I got back to the castle to find his Lordship had cleared a room in order to make space for all the packed boxes which are going into temporary storage.
What this means is the sitting room has enough chairs and settees in it to accommodate a small congregation and to navigate to turn on the TV is like taking part in a obstacle race.

So its 12 days to go and counting..........
