My little patch of blue
Ahh today was another hectic day - I've been spring cleaning all week in between family visits and entertaining the children (or not as the case may be).
But for two minutes I slipped out into the garden unnoticed to quickly snap a few of my flowers. I have had a garden now for four years - and no flowers, or time to plant any - just first a forest of overgrown shrubs and then later a terrible jungle of weeds.
This year we have managed to clear two sides of the back garden and I now have two borders - and a handful of plants! They are very small - planted far too late - and the soil is poor. But they make me very happy because finally I can see a time when we might be able to use our little garden; get out and enjoy the sun and the snow. Hurrah!
