Cushendun and Cushendall
- Backblip - Northern Ireland Day 9
A lovely sunny day spent on the coastal road, East Antrim. First, the lovely bay at Cushendun, a conservation village, with beautiful old cottages. I don't think I have ever seen a monument to the Foot and Mouth outbreak before.
I had to feature Guinness somewhere in my Journal during the fortnight. I had taken the traditional shot with the full glass and frothy head, but when I saw this mural in Glenariff further down the coast, I knew this would fill the gap nicely. Good to find a hurling mural too.
We sampled Maud's icecream for the first time - Pooh Bear flavour (honeycomb) was the favourite.
Try large.
