Long Slow Distance

Pope's Passage

Not one of Lewes' most salubrious features, Pope's Passage is actually a historic route from the High Street through to Castle Ditch Lane.

I love the little row of potted plants on the high ledge, which presumably is more for the benefit of those within the courtyard garden beyond than the reprobates passing through the Pope's passage.

More worryingly, it seems I am doomed now to return to nightblipping. Winter is upon us.
