Musikfest

We live in the great city of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Bethlehem is known as the Christmas City because it was named on Christmas Eve 1741 by the Moravians. Not only does it offer many Christmas time activities, Bethlehem is also known for Musikfest. For ten days each August the city is turned into a (mostly) free music festival. Because of the European influences of the city the venues are called "Platzes" as you see in the one photo. The upper right photo is our brave boys in blue on horseback and the lower right photo shows one of the many performers - the bell phantom.
