Ladybird Ladybird fly Away Home
I was out this morning with the kids geocaching and going to he park when we stopped to look at the flowers in a raised bed. There were loads of insects, hoverflies and ladybirds enjoying them as well that I could have had a months worth of blips there and then. Decided that having done a hoverfly last week I should pick one of the others. So decided on this unusually coloured 14 Spot Ladybird (real name Calvia Quattuordecimguttata) but you can call her Marcia.
I didn't choose the name, but kids have to name everything especially 7 year old (nearly 8) girls.
Enjoy the weekend.
