Sunny Summer Saturday

Summer made a reappearance today, and it brought a piano. 10 of them actually, dotted all round Belfast city centre. Just sitting there waiting for members of the public to have a bash. I got talking to the man in charge and he told me that it's a public art initiative that's running all round the world, to try to get people to 'engage with their public spaces', or something like that. People did seem to be hanging around a bit longer, but it's hard to know whether that was because of the sun or the music.

Sitting beside one of the ugliest pieces of public art I've ever seen, in a spot usually taken up by the clinically insane faith-healers, hell-fire preachers and the likes, it made a nice change :)
