Elderberries

Jack and I found these pretty berries while walking along a path near the ocean. I really liked how they looked against the bright blue sky, so I thought I would take a picture!!

Upon getting home and showing them to my husband, he immediately recognized them as being American Elderberries! They are from the honeysuckle family and apparently you can make jelly and wine from them!

Off now to the county fair then a picnic later!! Busy, Busy!!
