DISAPPEARING
Birding today at Leighton Moss and a very quiet day, birdwise and visitorwise. It was very relaxing though, and I had time to tootle about with the camera. This used to be a barn but is now being rapidly buried by undergrowth and uppergrowth. Nice bit of rust and decay though.
Later went out to see a steam train pass through Hellifield station. But it didn't. In the hour we were there 4 normal passenger trains went through, but to the disappointment of a half dozen or so people. no steam train. The merely half dozen or so people was a worry anyway, as usually there is a good crowd waiting in anticipation. Perhaps we had missed it. Or perhaps it went through a minute after we left. Ho hum.
