Ullswater

Took a trip down to the Lake District today. Was a bit cloudy and over-cast as we drove down, but by the afternoon, it was glorious.

Lunch and an obligatory piece of yummy, scrummy carrot cake at Whinlatter (Siskins Cafe), then we explored the Ullswater area. Loved watching the boats Swallows and Amazons style and people kayaking on the water. There were even people just going for a swim (needed wet suits, though). MP swam about with them and thoroughly enjoyed diving in for her ball, entertaining people sitting on the shore. It actually felt like summer today.
