Out and about

Today has been another busy one. Not with (much) wedding stuff, but other fun things!

After stocking up the house with some food for this week we came home and filled the cupboards once again, but I suspect we'll be going out at some point in the week to do some fringy stuff that will lead to dinner out etc.

Afternoon-wise we went to the Foodies Festival in Holyrood park. A nice afternoon out in the sun that we came out un-prepared. In our defence when we left the house it was grey and a bit breezy. When we got to Holyrood park it was sunny and fine. So fleece off and off we wandered. It wasn't the greatest event we've been to - not so much a showcase of Scottish produce, but somewhere for people to sell their wares at. Not something we'll rush back to. We'd rather go to the Taste festival again.

We headed out this evening to a friend's house for dinner, chat and games. Some wedding chat did occur, but this was inevitable as they are playing an integral part in our day.
This is their cat - Lewis. He's lovely and very affectionate to his mummy and daddy. Doesn't so much like strangers, but doesn't avoid them. Especially if there is a stroke or belly rub on offer
