Fort Augustus Locks

We were tourists today and took the children to Loch Ness.

We went to the Visitor's Centre which was interesting but seems to do all it can to dispel the myth!

Urquart Castle was insanely busy so we decided not to stay and had a picnic in the car (very British) further south in a relatively quiet lay-by overlooking the loch.

We then drove to Fort Augustus at the south end and had a lovely time by the Caledonian Canal and the locks.
