~~Backblip~~

When I arrived at work in Cardiff just after 11AM on Saturday, I didn't expect to be standing here barely 10 hours later, taking a photo with my own headlights casting multiple shadows of myself.

I always get excited when I see this sign (I also get excited when I see the Croeso i Gymru one). Nothing against our English friends, but the air is just different. Even without the sign, you can tell when you've crossed the border.

Anyway, I'd planned the blip for hours... for hundreds of miles! The idea of being Welcomed to Scotland was reassuring. I didn't expect that the pics I took would come out so sinister. Well maybe that's more fitting, really.

I got a phonecall at work about 11:45 - bad news, hence the hasty trip. I don't want to discuss it in a public forum, just to acknowledge it. Suffice to say I will be in Tranent, Edinburgh & Midlothian for a bit. Might get as far up as Dundee for a day, but will have to see how things go.

I will continue to blip, but there may be some backblipping, and I don't expect to be writing much. Commenting is likely to be sporadic too!

I'm hoping to find some positives in being in the area - catch up with friends & family etc. Also looking forward to getting back to Mathew as well though.

Anyhow... must go see what Sunday has in store for me...
