Crashing Waves at Ballycastle

A text from #2 first thing this morning with his S6 SQA exam results. A big relief that he has done very well. Fantastic Mr F!!

P & D left early this morning to visit family in Kilkeel. After packing the car, we sat watching a curlew and oystercatcher searching for food along the shore. Walked into Ballycastle and then along the beach, enjoying the crashing waves on the incoming tide. Lovely clean sand, hardly anyone there, views over to Rathlin Island, we just didn't want to leave.

Headed south to Belfast for two nights in a B & B near the University.

I used the polarising filter on this one, and am pleased with the result.
