Ultrasaurus V Camper full of Gulls

Over the summer there is a massive dinosaur on Southsea Common as an art installation.

It is based on the biggest dinosaur ever, however it has now been discovered that it did not exist and that actually what was thought to be the Ultrasarus turned out to be the remains of two different dinosaurs thats someone stuck together, or something a bit like that.

Even so someone somewhere has decided to build what would be a life sized Ultrasaurus (that never existed) and tour it round the country as art.
We decided to pop down to the common to see it and I have to say it was a little disappointing as I expected it to be bigger really, and as someone else pointed out a bit more life like.

Anyway it is still quite interesting to look at and take the kids to. There was also one of those VW camper get togethers down there which I have to say is all very odd. I dont really see the point in meeting up with loads of people who drive the same car. It especially must make it really hard to find your car when it is time to go home, I sometimes struggle to find mine in a car park full of different cars.

Also why do just some cars have these meet ups and others dont for example if a load of Vauxhall Vectra drivers got together it would be deemed as odd, although the owners would probably be a bit smarter it the whole thing would look like a sales conference.

So I took a few shots down there this evening when all the gulls were flapping about looking for chips and curry sauce after everyone was going home. I chose this one to blip as it kind of looks like a camper has released a load of gulls out of its roof to fight of the Dinosaur.

Well thats what I see anyway and I am as normal as they come!
