St Nicks

I took this from the taxi, as we sped along past Albert Dock and the Pier Head towards Formby. You can see the Atlantic Towers hotel as well as the Daily Post and Echo building, plus new things that have sprouted up since I moved away. I was just a bit shocked by the blue sky, though we'd seen a bit after roast beef and huge Yorkshire pudding, as Agu and I rolled Mrs Pepperpot down to the River Mersey. Not too fast! Thanks AKHF for another lovely meal and also to mv of course.

We were listening to the football in the taxi. Two minutes later groaning to hear of the other 'Spanish' goal. Poor lad. Anyway, things might just be looking up this season.
