Amazing day
Today I did something completely different - I went clay pigeon shooting! There was an event being held in Auchterhouse in aid of The Prince's Trust. I was invited along by Keir - his boss had booked them in but unfortunately was unable to go himself so I got to step in.
The morning started off with bacon rolls and coffee followed by a briefing of the day by Fred MacAulay. Then we went off in our teams to start the shoot.
I have never been clay pigeon shooting before but the guys helping out were brilliant in showing me what to do. We did 8 different stands - one included shooting at a remote control plane which we had to try and shoot to take down. Well the 4 of us in my team didn't manage but we had a good laugh trying!
I managed to beat the 3 men in my team at 2 of the stands and won prizes - delighted!!
The day finished with champagne and lunch in a big marquee. It was delish! There was a few celebs there today - Nick Nairn, Alex James, Miss Great Britain and a few of the Scottish Rugby players. Today's blip is of me and Chris Cusiter who is joint captain of the Scotland rugby team.
Tonight I am exhausted. I hope you've had a lovely weekend with fab sunshine :o)
