Soaked

Brilliant day in the sun. The thing I love about Britain is that as soon as we have a sunny day we make so many outdoor-based plans for the coming weeks - "oh...let's go camping bank holidy weekend"..."oh that dinner we were planning - let's make it a barbeque"...."we should really invest in some proper outdoor sofas"....we entirely forget that tomorrow it will probably just lash it down again.

This is Summer waiting in line at the ice cream van after a good old soaking in the waterpark at Happy Mount in Morecambe. I LOVE it there - so retro - brassbands, carnations and marigolds in perfect patterns, a little train and a not-particularly accurate Japanese Garden. I hope one day Milo and Summer will go with their families and friends and have as much fun as we did today :)
