Dahlia

I've been away from blip for a couple of days. Boy, does it feel strange. I'm glad to be back. It was a busy weekend and I'll probably back blip.

I spent most of my day taking baby steps into the deep pit of Photoshop. A black bottomless pit. Yikes! Although I think I may be starting to understand what a layer is - why don't they call it an overlay?

After a few hours of staring at my screen I had to get outside. Good timing...a storm was coming...the sky was deep gray, the thunder was rumbling in the distance and the wind was starting to come up.

Although the prediction was for rain all day one of my bright neighbours was watering his garden. I ducked the sprinkler to take pictures of his well watered dahlias. I didn't always get out of the way on time. But I did beat the rain back home.
