Concorde.
At primary school, I would get called Concorde and I would be quite hurt by it. I hated my nose back then, would have done anything to get another one, possibly like the one Peter Purves had.
The jibes carried on into secondary school but lessened as they began to realise I was growing into a bit of a bruiser. Quite soon after that, I began to get used to my nose, especially after my English teacher described it as 'Romanesque' in front of the girls.
Since then, I have come to like my nose.
One of my closest friends, who is 45 years old, still calls me 'big nose' on occasion.
