Hike at Loon Lake

Last year I found these cute "golf tee" fungus (as I call them) and now see them everywhere in the forest. I absolutely love the color and how they pop up when you look closely at the moss covered forest debris.

The photo is taken with the digital macro of a point and shoot... all I had to get close. I wanted to test it out and see how it actually works.
