The Tale of the Ugly Duckling
Today, we ventured over to Creswell Crags.
If you are like me, Creswell Crags is that place of interest that you only live within 30 minutes drive of but never actually visit. You figure that it is on your doorstep and so you will go along another time. That time never seems to come around.
Well, today it did and I thought I would finally visit this ancient limestone gorge, pitted with caves that once were home to our early ancestors.
I did plan to blip a landscape shot of the gorge, but I came across a pair of swans with seven cygnets and liked this photo the best.
If you do read this and are in driving distance of Creswell Crags I strongly recommend visiting. The new visitors' centre is excellent and they have done a tremendous job. They really have. Well done to all those concerned.
