Royal Pavilion

What a night.

I normally walk past the Royal Pavilion in Brighton when going out for a few drinks.

Tonight however I took camera and tripod and decided to capture an image of the building which was built by King George IV when he was Prince of Wales. Apparently the Prince liked Brighton because of its cuisine, gaming, the theatre and fast living. I'm not too sure of the gaming but the others are still possible.

Anyway, after waiting for a crowd of students to move and dodging a drunk several times, who seemed very concerned as to if I had permission, I caught an image which I am reasonably pleased with. Because the flood lights are so powerful I had to create an hdr image to keep some colour in the sky and detail in the grass.

Looking forward to walking past it again on Friday night ...
