Pride & Joy

This is my step-dad's pride & joy. He bought it not long after I moved out of the family home. It's taken up residence in my old bedroom. They knocked a hole in the wall between the spare room and the living-room, thus expanding the latter. Something tells me they wanted to make sure I wasn't coming back!

It really is a marvellous machine, though. It plays '45s. He could've had a converted one that plays CDs, but he wanted this authenticity. I think he made the right call.

Today was slightly stressful, interesting, and looooong. Trip to Dundee tomorrow. First part won't be fun. From the rest of the day I expect great things, and blipportunities galore (no pressure!)
