Surprise bee

Chilly day here in Minnesota. It's a welcome break from the hot humid conditions of last week.

I took this photo while doing some GPS surveying of one of our prairie remnant sites. I was going after the Monarch on the Liatris there... I didn't notice the bumblebee until I looked at the photos just a few minutes ago. Bonus!
