A great start to the day.

That weekend storm made the creek swell to twice its previous size - we were even able to venture over and beyond the beaver dams that usually cut the stream off completely, though the rushing flow made a few of the crossings a bit tricky.

We stayed out WAY longer than planned. A 2hr paddle quickly turned to 4. This shot was taken on our way back, just coasting along with the current.
