Subdued Brilliance

It was an overcast and rainy day today and we had to go int Blackpool for eyetests. The Opticians is just over the road from Birley Street which is the hub of £3.5million regeneration of the town centre using sound and light projectors-known as 'The Brilliance Scheme'. During construction it was like 'War of the Worlds' had come to Blackpool...now complete it certainly gives the area a modern character though I have yet to visit after dark and see them in full swing.
