School lamb
At the end of my duty slot today, two girls came running towards me, one of them with a lamb in her arms. This isn't exactly an every day occurence, but happens more often at our school than you'd think, due to the fact that we have a school farm.
The lamb patiently posed for a couple of shots before being whisked off back to the paddock.
What amazes me is the calm way these kids (who often aren't calm) deal with a small animal like this. They seem to instinctively know what to do with them (I wouldn't have had a clue at 14) and how to handle them. I guess that's one of the joys of working in a rural school.
Check out Brandon Mackie - last legs and Chaos' foggy bottom (sounds very unpleasant but it's not).
