Homeward bound

We set off early this morning to make the drive back up to Edinburgh. The weather was poor so the opportunity for photos of ducks at Johnstone Bridge Services was low but I did manage to fire off this shot of a little sparrow in the rain in the carpark.

Once in Edinburgh there were the usual trips to IKEA (to get plastic boxes to finish the final stage of de-miting the kitchen) where we found they have stopped selling what I class as "classic IKEA glasses, then on to Sainsburys to replace food that we had to chuck when the plug socket for the fridge broke. With only The Boy being at home and the fridge being used less, it was a number of days before the problem was noted.

We took a nice leisurely stroll along the canal (where my mum found her blip for the day) to Zizzi's for dinner before my parents began the journey home.
