Day 2...

..OMG! I got to the playground this morning and the head teacher was standing at the edge of the playground. I said my goodbyes to Megan and she tottered off to her area before the bell. I asked the headteacher if we could wait in the playground until it was John's turn to go in and she said we could or she would make sure he got in ok at 9am. I asked my little soldier "do you want to go in on your own?" and he proudly replied "yes". I was sobbing!

I then retreated into the background to watch how he got on. The headteacher told him to put his school bag and lunch bag against the wall and go and have a play. He did as he was told without a second thought. Then...the bell went and mummy didn't think he was able to find his school bag and lunch bag and was getting ever more tearful and panicky! Then he found them both and went and stood in his line for going in.

The lump in my throat was still getting bigger and I was unable to talk without tears for about 1/2 an hour. I think today was more stressful than yesterday!!

I then had my camera at the ready at hometime and here he is, first in the queue to get out. Lovely!!

Thank you for reading my stgory of my 2nd baby going to school! Di
