Sliksleeen

In Dutch it is Pinksteren now. I think the English term is Whitsun. It's when we 'celebrate' that the holly ghost comes down to earth. Or something like that anyway. In Delfzijl where I live it's a good excuse to drink beer and let loose. A tradition in Delfzijl is the annual Slikslee championship. In english it would be called something like mud sledding.
Here you can see some of the girls waterpoloteam who are competing. At our waterpolo club it's a tradition to compete every year, boys and girls alike.
