Snails

One of the things I like to do on holiday is eating in local restaurants and try something I would never order at home in a restaurant. In this restaurant we ate snails as you can see and cockels (little shell creatures). Both weren't bad but I wouldn't order them again very soon. Many of the cockels eaten in mediterranean countries come from the Dutch Waddensea by the way. But in Holland we don´t eat them so we sell them.
