Lavender

Gorgeous smell of lavender this morning from several bushes as I passed by. It must have been a combination of the overnight rain and early morning warmth. A little hint of it here to remind me.

I will be posting a question on the Equipment Forum shortly. I have been saving hard for a Canon 100mm macro lens. Can't decide whether to hold off and save for the IS L version. Is it really worth the extra £££s? Any thoughts on this very welcome.

I ordered Bryan Peterson's newly published 3rd edition of "Understanding Exposure", which arrived today. Always keen to learn and improve. Off to browse.
