Fly Agaric
These fungi are the classic red ones with white spots that emerge in the Autumn usually in birch woodlands. These two had gone past the familiar dome shaped phase. There is lots of myths around the hallucinogenic properties of these fungi one being that the Vikings used to eat them before going into battle giving rise to the infamous 'berserker warriors'.
What ever the fabled properties they would make you ill if you ate them.
