Baby Racehorse

I have forty eight conformation shots of racehorses to take this week; at least half of them are only 18 months old, and have just arrived to start doing grown up stuff. The shots have to be taken in the correct pose, legs in the right position , looking forward, ears pricked. When you are 18 months old and you are being asked to stand still, even for 5 minutes, it does seem a waste of time, especially when the temperature is a steamy 105f. I got through 27 of them today, and then had to lie down in a darkened room for some time. Enthusiasm for photography low, so a horse's head blip today, and very likely a horse's arse backside blip tomorrow. So it's goodnight from me, and goodnight from her.
